Errol Doebler is a former U.S. Navy SEAL and retired FBI Special Agent who now runs Leader193. Errol graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1991, first serving in the fleet before joining Seal Teams.
In this episode, we talk about 5 elements you need to consider about how you are leading yourself if you want to lead other people.
They are:
- Cultivating self-awareness.
- Self-evaluation strategies.
- Goal setting.
- Eliminating negative people.
- Finding mentors in your life.
After spending some time in the private sector, Errol joined the FBI in the wake of 9-11 where he investigated International Terrorist Organizations out of the FBI’s flagship New York City office. He was also on the FBI SWAT team.
Because of his experience, Errol was attached to the 75th Ranger Regiment and was deployed to Afghanistan in that capacity where he participated in extensive combat operations that earned him the FBI’s second highest award for valor, the Shield of Bravery for his actions on the battlefield.
He’s also the author of the book The Process, Art, and Science of Leadership available now on Amazon.
